Stamp 'N Hop October Blog Hop!

Saturday 9 October 2021 United Kingdom

Welcome to the Stamp 'n Hop!

Today we have 9 fabulous projects from Stampin' Up! demonstrators and papercrafters who love all things Stampin' Up!

I've created this non traditional Christmas card with Stampin' Up! Peaceful Place DSP from the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue.

I am combining the brief of this blog hop with a creative challenge that we currently have in our Facebook group for the team of Stampin' Up! demos called the Pinkies #PinkiesTeam

We have two challenges per month and currently we have this fun card sketch challenge! As you can see, I've followed it pretty closely.

Feel free to pin this sketch to your Pinterest board.
Even better, why not have a go at creating card using the sketch?
If you don't already follow me on Pinterest, click here - I have a lot of boards organised into various categories.

If you want to join my Stampin' Up! group board (a place where you can pin your projects and ideas) click here. Request to join and I will approve it. If your request hasn't been approved in a few days, feel free to message and give me a nudge.

I really enjoyed the creative process of creating this card. I loved how this card sketch helped move me away from my usual go to card layouts. I really must use card sketches more often.

Whilst I'm obsessed with the Peaceful Place DSP, I haven't found a colour to combine with it that works really well yet. All of my designs using this patterned paper monochrome is either combined with Basic Gray, white or silver.

I'm thinking Blushing Bride might work? Maybe even Pool Party?

To combine all the elements of this card, I've used the silver sheet from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack in various places.

I used the Christmas Tree dies to die cut the mini trees. I love those little trees ❤ I also used a die from the same set to die cut a few stars that I added to the starry night sky.

I used the fabulous Christmas to Remember stamp set for the sentiment, which I have heat embossed in silver.

To finish the card I used the Simply Elegant Trim in silver and added a loose bow.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
