So Many Snowflakes Christmas card

Tuesday 22 September 2020 Bridgwater, UK

I've created this clean and simple Christmas card using items from the Snowflake Splendor suite collection by Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! are hands down the best in creating suites with coordinating products - they usually contain a stamp set, dies or punch, designer series paper, embossing folder, ribbon and embellishments.

I loved the icy blue colours that featured on my card in my last blog post so I've used them again!

To create my card, I embossed the card base using the Winter Snow embossing folder. It's so pretty!

The sentiment that I've stamped in Balmy Blue ink is perfect for your special someone - but if it doesn't suit, you can easily change it up with another sentiment from the Snowflake Splendor stamp set!

I've used the Stitched Nested Labels dies to cut the sentiment (there is a similar die within the So Many Snowflakes dies.... as I write this I'm wondering why I didn't use it!!)

I die cut the snowflakes from Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper using the So Many Snowflake dies.

The Glimmer Paper is truly stunning, it is just the perfect icy blue colour for your Christmas papercraft projects. I'm going to have to get some more as I know I'm going to use it a lot!

I have used the twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (with the Misty Moonlight thread removed). I'm on my second roll already as this ribbon is so versatile!

I do love the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon that is included within the suite collection but it wasn't right for this project. You'll definitely see me using it soon!

To finish my card, I added two Metallic Pearls in silver. Again, I didn't use the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems that feature within the suite as I don't have them - major oversight!! They will definitely be on my next order, for sure!
