What's my favourite season? Hmmm, I have two!

I live in the UK and my favourite time of year for the weather is Spring/Summer - I particularly love the warm days and blue skies.

My other favourite season is the holiday season - I absolutely love Christmas!!!!

The weather may be awful but I love everything else - the planning, crafting, shopping, decorating the house, wrapping, baking, cooking and generally spoiling my friends and family. I love it all.

Did you know it's just 99 days until the big day! Better get making those Christmas Cards!!!!

The card I've created today is based on a sketch challenge we've been set on our Facebook page for Michelle Last's team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators in Europe called the Pinkies.

It's the PERFECT sketch for using up scraps!

I've used scraps from the Snowflake Splendor DSP, Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper, White White Cardstock (which I've embossed with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder) and Silver Foil sheets (which I've embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder)

The sketch is great however I wanted to make it my own by using different textures, metallic and glittery elements, patterned paper and layers - I added a Foam Strip underneath the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper.
I kept the colours simple and went for a fresh, icy blue feel.

I even did some stamping on one of the strips using the Peace and Joy stamp set! This went perfectly with the two layer die cut from the coordinating Joy dies.

You can purchase the stamp set and dies as a bundle with 10% off - just click here

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and see what I've created!

Now it's time to check out the other projects!

    1. I love a bit of sparkle, especially at Christmas! The dies are fab, they weren't on my first order of Christmas products and should have been!
