Tag Buffet Blog Hop!

Thursday 12 November 2020 United Kingdom

Today's blog hop is all about the fabulous Tag Buffet project kit and coordinating stamp set!

I don't have the kit but I have made these two simple yet elegant white and silver Christmas cards!

If you have arrived from Alejandra's blog, welcome to my blog Handmade by Kim!

I'm Kim and I live in Somerset in the UK. You'll find lots of inspiration here today from Stampin' Up! demonstrators and papercrafters from Canada, USA and the UK!

Both cards I have created have a Whisper White dry embossed card base.

I've used the Winter Snow Embossing Folder for this card and the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder for the other card.

I added a layer of Silver Foil which I don't often do as it feels ever so indulgent.

All the stamping has been done in Versamark and has been heat embossed in silver.

I adore the combination of white and silver but I find it a challenge to photograph.

I fussy cut the stockings and baubles which was super easy to do! I punched tiny holes into the shapes so I could thread the twine through.

I layered the shapes into place on a piece of Whisper White using Dimensionals and then wrapped the twine around the back of the cardstock before attaching to the Silver Foil Sheet.

I've done some stamping inside my card too! I've used a sentiment from the Tag Buffet stamp set

I even added some holly and berries too - all heat embossed in silver!

I hope you've enjoyed my project today! If you have the time I'd love you to leave me a comment to let me know you stopped by. You can subscribe to receive my blog posts by email here.

Next up is Alison aka The Inkspirational Crafter and she has a lovely project to show you. Simply click on her name in the list below to visit her blog and then repeat, working your way down the list and back to the top, until you end up back here!
