Pretty Perennials Thank You Cards

Monday 5 April 2021 United Kingdom

It's been a few months since I last took part in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights so I am excited to be taking part again!

What great timing too, with the theme as 'thank you' I thought it would be perfect to enter these colourful thank you cards that I created for anyone who placed an order with me in March.
Did you know that you can check out all of the thank you cards entered by papercrafters from all of the world by clicking on the banner above?

If you like my card, I would really appreciate you voting for me - you can find more information on how to vote further down this page.

To create my cards, I have used the fabulous monochrome True Love Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

I love every single sheet of this monochrome patterned paper, which is unusual as usually I only like handful of designs within each pack of DSP.

The Pretty Perennials stamp set & Perennial Petals dies were perfect to pair with the DSP. I love the flowers stamps and the dies.

These cards are a kind of throwback to a couple of projects I created many years ago which you can see here and here.

I think the combination of the bright flowers with the black and white patterned paper behind looks really striking.

I tend to work with subtle colours but if I am going to go bright, I love to pick colours like this.

I've finally used Magenta Madness, which is almost neon and way to bright for me. However, pairing it with Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape really worked, especially against the black and white background.
In the centre of each of the large and medium flowers I have added an Opal Round. These are really lovely gems and have a little bit of sparkle ❤

I've added the sentiment 'thanks' which is from the Well Said stamp set which is retiring on 3rd May. I've heat embossed it in black (Black Embossing Powder is making a return in the next Annual catalogue being released on 4th May).

To vote, please click the button below then scroll down Kylie's blog post until the gallery of cards appears.

Make sure you have a good look at all of the cards - to get a better closer look simply click on the image of the card and you will be taken to the creators blog.

You can place five votes so don't forget to use them all! All you have to do is click the heart in the top right hand corner on each card that you like.

The top ten winners will participate in a Blog Hop before the end of the month.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
