Welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share Showcase Blog Hop!

If you have arrived here from Angie's blog, a very warm welcome to you!

There is no theme today - although you'll find we have all used products from the Stampin' Up! Annual catalogue and Mini catalogue.

At a #PinkiesTeam event a few months ago the lovely Sylvia Lawrence taught us how to make a 3D project - an explosion box! It was my first time creating one of these although I've admired explosion boxes for years. Thank you for the clear instructions Sylvia, I loved your version!

Naturally I had to make one in my own style - I thoroughly enjoyed making this explosion box with my favourite colour Pool Party and my favourite patterned paper the True Love DSP which is retiring soon and sadly out of stock in Europe. Thankfully I managed to grab two packs in the sale as I adore it so much.

I am totally in my element when creating a more detailed project like this, I adore mixing patterned paper and adding details with stamps, die cuts and embellishments.

The Mini Jam Jars fit perfectly in the centre of this explosion box. I added a Velcro / hook and loop dot underneath to keep it in place. Inside the jar are some white Skittles - the Pride edition.

I loved these Skittles last year and may have bought more packets then I would like to admit. I particularly like them as I don't spend ages picking out my favourite colours/flavours.

They are basically the same flavours as the original Skittles but are white and are raising awareness for #Pride #OneRainbow. I'll be stocking up as soon as I see these in the shops again!

I love decorating little jars like this. Click here for a throwback to an old project of mine from 2015.

The combination of the gorgeous monochrome patterned paper with Pool Party is just divine. I hate to say it but I just won't be able to part with this project (anyone else have the same issues?)

I am so disappointed the Pretty Perennials bundle is retiring at the end of June. It's such a lovely set, if you haven't added this into your stash yet, don't delay as it could sell out at any time.

I love symmetry so the opposite panels just had to match.

I kept the design simple with stamped die cuts and added Matte Black Dots.

I added what some people call a Tammy Bow using the lush Pool Party Sheer Ribbon to the lid of the eplosion box.

Stampin' Up! demo and Artisan Tammy Wilson is so talented, she creates these unique bows. My demonstrator friend, Anna Pickering. also an Artisan and equally as talented demonstrates how to create one here.

I've created a card to match this project so they could be given together as a gift. Keep an eye on my blog for this project, I hope to share it with you very soon.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
