Beautifully Penned Thank You Card

Monday 9 August 2021 United Kingdom

It's time for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights! The theme, as always, is Thank You!
Did you know that you can check out all of the thank you cards entered by papercrafters from all over the world by clicking on the banner below?

If you like my card, please vote for me - you can find more information on how to vote further down this page.

Recently I've not had a lot of time to craft - and when I have had the time I've not felt inspired at all.

I've really got to love what I'm working with for the ideas to flow and then to feel happy with my creations. So when I picked up this patterned paper my mojo kindly made an appearance.

I thoroughly enjoyed the creative process making this card so I do hope you like it?

We've been spoilt with monochrome paper from Stampin' Up! this year. The Beautifully Penned DSP is more a muted black than a rich black -  I honestly adore it and I cannot wait to create more cards with it.

Even better, this paper coordinates with the Hand Penned stamp set and Penned Flowers dies from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. Now who doesn't love coordinating products?

You can choose a pack of this paper for free for every £45 you spend between now and 30th September 2021 during Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration (click here to view the Sale-a-Bration catalogue)

I've used 3 of the 6 patterns on my card - I really love the vertical hand drawn stripe and the dots are pretty cool too.

The flowers have been fussy cut and lightly coloured in with Pool Party Stampin' Blends and then strategically placed over the diagonal stripe where the two patterns of DSP meet.

Inside the card I've used the left over piece of the diagonally cut DSP and a Pool Party trim.

I've also added a stamped image from the coordinating Hand Penned stamp set.

I love adding a bit of bling and with these colours I think gold works perfectly.

I've used the Gilded Gems (which I desperately need to restock) and a single Bee Trinket which adds some interest to the flower arrangement.

To vote, please click the button above then scroll down Kylie's blog post until the gallery of cards appears.

Make sure you have a good look at all of the cards - to get a better closer look simply click on the image of the card and you will be taken to the creators blog.

You can place five votes so don't forget to use them all! All you have to do is click the heart in the top right hand corner on each card that you like.

The top ten winners will participate in a Blog Hop before the end of the month.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
