Pansy Patch - #GDP306

Tuesday 24 August 2021 United Kingdom

It's been a while since I've created a card with the Pansy Petals suite from Stampin' Up! In fact, I hadn't even inked the stamp set!

I created this card at the weekend and was super excited to see this weeks Global Design Project sketch challenge #GDP306 when it came out yesterday. I am so happy my card fits the brief. As the challenges start on Mondays, I don't usually get to join in as I mainly craft at weekends and with the challenge ending on Sunday, I feel it's too late to add a card.

I love a monochrome card or a card with a limited colour palette - and this combination of Basic White, Blushing Bride and Basic Black is a firm favourite of mine.

I've used the Beautifully Penned DSP which you can select for free during Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration when you place an order of £45 plus shipping. Sale-a-Bration ends on 30th September so don't delay and make sure you grab a pack of this monochrome patterned paper.

I stamped the flowers using the Pansy Patch stamp set and die cut them using the Pansy dies.

I also created the leaves using the Pansy dies. I decided to go against the norm by making black leaves.

As card makers we can create whatever our hearts desires and mine wanted black leave so why not?

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
