Pop of Polished Pink

Monday 6 December 2021 United Kingdom

The theme, as always, is Thank You!

You can check out all of the thank you cards entered by papercrafters from all over the world by clicking on the banner above

If you like my card, please vote for me - you can find more information on how to vote further down this page.

I am actually using exactly the same DSP and also featuring the same suite as I did for the last card I entered into Kylie's November gallery. That was not at all planned but shows the versatility in the Stampin' Up! products.

If you haven't recognised this bold striped DSP, it's from the Cute Halloween DSP. It's quite easily overlooked along with some of the other patterns in the DSP.

Most of the sheets that have a Halloween pattern have a non Halloween pattern on the reverse. So if you haven't used all of yours yet, you don't have to save it for Halloween!

I have used the Artistic dies to die cut the lovely leaves from Black Glimmer Paper.

The sparkle is fabulous but what really makes this card stand out is the pop of Polished Pink against the Basic White and Basic Black.

You could add some many other colours though - Real Red would look lovely, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana or Balmy Blue would look cool, Highland Heather perhaps or even Daffodil Delight. I could go on.....

If you have the time to leave a comment, I'd love to know which colour you would choose?

The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts stamp set - my go to set. I love the font and the range of sayings, my only gripe is that there is no happy birthday.

I heat embossed the sentiment in black and added a couple of In Colour 2021 - 2013 Jewels in Polished Pink.

I've used the Stitched Rectangle dies throughout my card - for the Basic White and Polished Pink layers and also for the sentiment.
