Have a Peachy Birthday!

Tuesday 19 April 2022 United Kingdom

You can never have too many birthday cards!

I always like to make a couple of each design but often make some minor changes like a different DSP pattern or use different accent colours.

These two cards have been created with the retiring You're a Peach suite. Available while stocks last OR until 2nd May at the very latest!

I've used the Sweet as a Peach stamp set, Peach dies (SOLD OUT) and You're a Peach DSP.

I selected two different DSP patterns but have kept the overall design similar by highlighting the colour Calypso Coral which is the colour featured in both the flowers patterned paper and the striped patterned paper.

I've cut a label with the Stitched So Sweetly dies (retiring 2nd May) from Basic White cardstock.

I've stamped the sentiments 'Happy Birthday' and 'Let's celebrate you' using the Sweet as a Peach stamp set, in Pear Pizazz ink.

If you haven't got them already, these dies are a really good addition to your crafty stash. I use them so much and certainly won't be selling these. Make sure you grab them before they sell out!

The peaches have been stamped in Calypso Coral ink onto Basic White cardstock and die cut using the Peach dies.

I added one peach directly to the label using tombow glue and then layered the second peach using dimensionals.

The leaves were stamped in Pear Pizazz ink and have been die cut.

I've positioned the leaves behind the top of the peach so they look like they are coming out of the peach!

There are no embellishments on this card.

I just couldn't decide which ones or where to place them so I left the cards as you can see them now.

I like to stop adding elements earlier rather than later.

Simple is my style and I often stop when I am happy with the design. I prefer this to taking the design too far and adding too much for my liking. White space or simplicity is not something that worries me.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
