Ink.Stamp.Share - November Special Blog Hop!

Saturday 14 November 2020 United Kingdom

Welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop!

It's a pleasure to be blog hopping with this talented bunch of papercrafters and demonstrators again.

If you have just arrived from Sue's blog and you are visiting my blog for the first time - hello and welcome! My name is Kim and I live in Somerset in the UK.

There is no theme today - although you'll find we have all used products from the Annual, Beginners or Mini catalogues.

To view all of today's projects, scroll down my post until you find the 'Next' button - simply click this button to be taken to the next blog and then repeat until you end up back here again!

Alternatively, you can click each name under the Roll Call to check out all of the amazing projects!

For today's project I've created four Christmas cards using the Trimming the Town DSP.

I've created these Slider cards several times, the first time being way back in February 2015! I always go back to a video tutorial from Dawns Stamping Thoughts which you can find here. There are more recent versions available of course but I like this one!

I did a combination of die cutting and fussy cutting to cut out all of these houses from the DSP. I've layered them onto shapes die cut with the Layering Circles and Layering Ovals dies and added sentiments cut out from one of the patterned sheets of paper in this DSP pack.

I love coordinating my cardstock with my DSP, I don't usually work with the colour red but I adore the combination of Poppy Parade, Pool Party, Old Olive, Misty Moonlight and Early Espresso in this suite.

I must admit the only thing I didn't get from the Trimming the Town Suite is the ribbon - major fail!

I need to add a piece to the top of the card but I am lacking coordinating ribbon. I reckon I will end up going for some white ribbon - I may even colour it in with my blends!

In case you are wondering, he Merry Christmas sentiment is from the Tag Buffet stamp set.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today! You can sign up to receive my future blog posts by email by clicking here.
