Last weekend I attended my upline Michelle Lasts Pinkies Craft Along. We were very lucky to have 5 great projects delivered to us virtually via Facebook lives by Stampin' Up! demonstrators from our team called the Pinkies.

We gathered together on Zoom and it was so lovely to see each other. It's been a year now since the last in person event and I can't wait until it is safe to see each other in person!

I'm sharing with you today this wonderful Twist and Pop Fold Card that the lovely Lin Gostling demonstrated.

There were no kits for this event so we created the projects in our own style so I selected the beautiful Hydrangea Hill DSP to make this special fancy fold card for Mothers day.

I made one for my Mum and one for my Grandma to send on behalf of my Dad who lives in Trinidad and hasn't been able to visit since the first lockdown. As I write this my package of mothers day gifts to my Mum still hasn't arrived and the tracking is not providing any information. I do hope it arrives soon Mum x

Due to the very special inside of this card, I kept the front very simple. The DSP is so beautiful it doesn't really need anything else. Of course you could add sentiments and embellishments...

I used different combinations of cardstock for both cards, selecting colours from the DSP - Highland Heather, Purple Posy and Seaside Spray

Now for the inside and oh my goodness I thoroughly enjoyed stamping these panels with the Welcoming Window stamp set! It was so simple to create these gorgeous flower displays. I cannot wait to create more cards with this stamp set and use the coordinating Window Flower Box dies.

I stamped these images in Smoky Slate, Seaside Spray, *Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow
*unavailable to purchase however, you could 'stamp off' with Highland Heather to get a similar colour

This Twist and Pop Fold card is certainly a style I was use again and again for those special occasions. I might even try and do a tutorial on this at some point as I really like the proportions of this card compared to others I've seen - thank you so much Lin!

If you have never seen one before, you can watch this short video of how it opens.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
