Friendly Hello Fancy Fold

Thursday 24 February 2022 United Kingdom

I'm sharing another card that I've created with the Friendly Hello DSP & stamp set.

This is a great fancy fold card - the fancy fold feature is actually inside of the card!

To create my card I watched some tutorials on YouTube and then resized the elements to work with a UK card base.

It's so simple to make!

I'm thinking of filming a tutorial for this style card. Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see a video (it's been quite a while since I last filmed a tutorial - check out my YouTube channel here)

This card was a protype for a card swap taking place this weekend. I really enjoyed designing this but then had an epic fail. I ran out of the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon

Nothing else I had in my crafty stash worked as well and I couldn't get an order through in time so I decided to completely redesign my swap based on product I had enough stock of. You'll see my #PinkiesTeam swaps here on my blog on Sunday at 4pm.

Readers of my blog will know that Pool Party is my favourite colour, so when I picked up my pack of the Friendly Hello DSP, it wasn't difficult choosing which pattern to base my whole card around.

A Basic Black cardstock layer tied in really well with the black within the patterned paper.

The DSP inside the card is from the host set called Pattern Party DSP. It was carefully selected for the striking black and white pattern on one side and the Pool Party pattern on the reverse. Both sides of the paper are exposed so it allowed my card to be colour coordinated from all angels.

The stamping is a mixture of Basic Black and Pool Party using the Friendly Hello stamp set and the Flowing Flowers stamp set.

I love to coordinate so I die cut a small butterfly from Basic Black cardstock using the Brilliant Wings dies and then added a few Black Matte Dots to finish my card.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
